Cleaning & Coating

Using its state of the art fully automated HCL cleaning and coating line, RettCo is able to offer its services to other users of Wire Rod that require chemical cleaning to remove the scale on the rod prior to the customer's wire drawing operations. Coatings currently offered are phos & lube, phos & lime and just lime.

Annealing

Using Ebner HICON/H2® technology for superior spheroidized annealing requirements, RettCo's furnaces are capable of annealing a net charge of 30 tons of rods, 40 tons of wire or 25 - 50 tons of rod and wire combined, dependent on coil weight and geometry. Typical qualities currently annealed are carbon and alloy steels, bearing steels as well as copper cladded steels.
